Venado Caves

This exciting tour will take you to the inside of some marvelous caves in the town of Venado, 40 minutes from La Fortuna. The caves are made up of limestone, stalactites, stalagmites, and corals, and are crossed by shallow streams. As long as you don’t mind getting a little wet, this adventure is a whole lot of fun! You’ll get to climb the cave walls, crawl through cracks and holes – and you may encounter bats, spiders and marine fossils. You’ll be geared with a helmet and a flashlight for your safety!
