Arenal Hike & Hot Springs

The adventure begins at the northwest side of the Arenal Volcano, the area in which there has been the most volcanic activity in the last period of eruptions. Here, we walk the trails to the regenerating forest area and cross over a large block of petrified lava, produced by past eruptions, steep slopes, and sandy soils. Be sure to observe the great variety of plants, wildlife and magnificent rock formations – in addition to the volcanic landscape, there is a wonderful view of Lake Arenal.

Surely, you will need some rest and relaxation after the hike. Luckily, the Arenal region is renowned for its natural hot springs! Soak and simmer in the volcanic hot springs for a couple of hours, before returning to your hotel!
