Palo Verde National Park

This Visit includes a boat ride through the dramatic mangroves, swamps, saltwater and freshwater lagoons, marshes and both deciduous and evergreen forest of Palo Verde National Park.

In the wet season, the floodwaters of the Tempisque River welcome migrant birds from North America and South America. The mammal wildlife is equally rich, particularly during the dry season.
